Featured on CELC blog: Renai[chance] at Linen Dream Lab Milano

Founded in 1934 as Italy’s first fashion school, Istituto Secoli is globally recognized as an international benchmark for pattern making and garment construction. The institution features fashion designer Daniele Orlandi in its "Success Stories" series, alongside selected alumni. The profile is published in both Italian and English.

About the feature, and collaboration behind it

The post names two of the mills behind the collection's fabric: Lanificio Ormezzano and Penta Servizi Tessili. Beyond writing the piece, Ornella Bignami, a leading figure in Italian yarn and textile forecasting, member of the Première Vision and Intertextile trend committees, and director of Elementi Moda since 1979, supported directly Orlandi. She provided expert advice on fabric selection and helped connecting with key suppliers during the collection's development.

The Milan presentation took place at the Elementi Moda studio, home to the Linen Dream Lab. It followed an exclusive preview of the collection hosted three days earlier, on October 3, 2015, at Orlandi’s atelier in Como.
