Organic and non-violent silk bourette
This scarf is crafted from an ultra soft organic silk bourette in Ahimsa quality. Its fibres are from organic agricolture and non-violent production that allows the metamorphosis of the silkworm to a butterfly to be completed without killing the animal.
Due to the high proportion of sericin bourette silk has also skin-soothing and anti-inflammatory effect particularly ideal for allergy sufferers. The silk is produced according to strict organic textile standards and no fungicides, herbicides or GMO products are used in the production.
