The selection of fabrics is an integral part of the story behind each garment and includes elements such as: refined linens, exceptional wools and precious silks.
The idea is to look for outstanding suppliers who are mostly for artisans, family businesses, or historic companies (with even 300 years of heritage); passionate people dedicated to creating high-quality fabrics which convey beauty, passion and a sense of personality.
Together with these excellent raw materials, we incorporate top of the range finishings like gold zippers or mother-of-pearl buttons or washi tapes to further demonstrate that utility and beauty can easily co-exist.
Sourcing.
We are constantly in search of this excellence. Our aim is to match our creations with the best textiles and materials, looking for outstanding suppliers capable of exceptional products.
A wide selection both in terms of provenance and materials (from the handwoven loden of the Dolomites, to the traditional silks from West Bengal, passing by the refined Belgian linens) but each share a mutual respect for quality and sustainability.
Materials
We only use natural, and when possibile organic, fibres all sourced from some of the most trusted and renown partners. Soft yet sturdy wools, scrumptious silks, smooth organic cottons along with the best of linens are the hallmarks of our collection.
Among the summer fibres you’ll mostly find linens because of their naturalness, the nuances of their color and the refinement they can reach; on the other side beautiful wools, winter fabric par excellence, often undyed or handwoven using artisanal looms.
