Born in 1985, after high school I followed in the "family tradition" of attending medical school for several years before discovering my true passion in 2008 after having spent sometime abroad…
My story
June 2008.
I'm traveling in northern Europe. I am in a basement of a hostel in Amsterdam.
In a flash a thought suddenly becomes clear in my mind: I want to make clothes.
I'm lost for words. In silence, I'm having a walk.
At home I find the support of my family and so I start my training in Florence. Magic. I experience a new sense of freedom, I have a great desire to learn and discover.
I find myself thinking that what I do has real value; the most beautiful gift.
After a few months in Berlin I return to Milan to start courses in tailoring, attend various institutions and I gain experience in different fields.
I believe I have never hated so much this job as during a internship in a theatre tailoring workshop: frustrating and with little hope.
A couple of months later my sister is getting married, wearing the dress I made. No pressure, no compulsion ... I began to love this job, which is basically to be a tailor.
In autumn 2014 I have the occasion to tell my story and my projects; I never really felt ready, but at the end of the meeting I discover that somehow I committed to make a small collection.
I start working as assistant for a ready-to-wear brand in Milan and in a relatively short time I open my own studio in Como and startup activity in apparel. A project where the respect for life, an attention to people, processes and materials, the confidence in the synergy between individuals, disciplines and knowledge are not only elements of a vision but integral parts of any creation.
